Renewing an SME computer fleet without breaking everything
When to replace, what to keep, and why a full swap every five years costs more than a rolling renewal.

Custom-built computers, complete workstations, equipped meeting rooms, networking and backups. We specify the hardware for real-world use, install it, configure it, and stay reachable afterwards.
Buying the same machine for everyone is simple and expensive. An accounting workstation needs a good screen and an SSD, not a graphics card. A CAD workstation needs memory and processor. A salesperson needs battery life and low weight. We define three profiles at most, which keeps the fleet manageable while avoiding paying for unused power.
For the same budget, a custom-built machine gets better components exactly where it counts: storage, power supply, cooling, headroom. On a demanding workstation the performance gap commonly reaches 30 to 40%. On a standard office machine or a laptop, a branded model is often still the right call, and we will tell you so.
A fleet delivered in boxes is not an installed fleet. We prepare the machines, migrate data and profiles, configure access, printers and backups, and check that everyone can find their tools where they expect them. The switch happens outside working hours where possible, so your teams find a ready machine in the morning.
This is the rule everyone inverts. A remote participant forgives a mediocre picture and leaves the call over bad audio. We treat acoustics and microphones before choosing screen size, and we aim at the test that counts: an outside visitor walks in, plugs in one cable, and their screen appears, no app to install, no code to type.
How it runs
State of the existing fleet, real usage per desk, and business constraints.
Three machine profiles at most, costed, with the alternatives.
Assembly, configuration and data migration before delivery.
On-site setup, desk-by-desk verification, documentation.
Questions
Yes, under a maintenance contract: updates, backups, troubleshooting and monitoring. Without a contract we stay reachable on request, but with no guaranteed response time.
Anything that can serve internally is reconfigured: a developer’s old machine makes an excellent reception desk. The rest goes to an approved recycling channel, with secure disk erasure and a certificate.
Under contract, yes, with a response time agreed in advance. We cover all of French-speaking Switzerland: travel is planned at signature, not improvised on the day of the failure.
